Ghanaian international striker Kwame Nsor returned from injury to score in FC Metz’s 3-2 victory over lower-tier side Amniville FC in a pre-season warm-up friendly on Saturday.
The 21-year-old former Ghana U20 forward was in a second-half team fielded by Metz boss Albert Cartier, and he impressed scoring the match-winner with a brilliant patent finish.
Metz have started their preparations in earnest ahead of the French Ligue 1 season as they make a return and Nsor’s return to action will be crucial for them.
However despite scoring, the former Wa All Stars striker tells GHANAsoccernet.com he is yet to regain full fitness.
“Yes I train now, but still feel little pains but scoring today urges me on to aim for it,” he said.
The lanky forward underwent a fibula surgery two months ago and could not continue the season for Metz yet he managed to contribute 4 goals to their campaign after rejoining from German side Kaiserslautern.
