Ghana goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey is eyeing a double win over Columbus Crew in Sunday's MLS final.

Portland Timbers make a trip from Oregon to Ohio to take on Columbus Crew in a crucial game of the season.

Kwarasey has already guided Timbers to defeat Crew in the regular season and the custodian is eyeing a repeat of the famous victory that happened in September.

"The same way we had to win that game (in September), they also had to win that game and we were still able to beat them with their strongest team," the 27-year-old said in a Press briefing on Saturday.

"That, of course, gives us the belief that we can do it again on Sunday," he added.

Kwarasey made his debut season in the American top-flight a memorable one by winning the MLS's save of the season.

He will play against his Ghanaian compatriot Harrison Afful who is likely to start for Crew in the game.

The pair faced each other in September's regular season game.
