GHANASoccernet.com understands goalkeeper Adam Larsen Kwarasey will be recalled into the Ghana squad for next month’s 2014 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers after reconciling with goalkeepers trainer Nassam Yakubu.
Kwarasey,26, accused the goalkeeper’s trainer of lacking the requisite know-how to train national team goalkeepers and also accusing him of causing his demotion as first choice.
The Norway-born also fired a barb at former coach Kwesi Appiah of bowing to pressure to replace him between the sticks for Ghana second Group G match against Germany at the 2014 World Cup because he couldn’t communicate with his defenders in any of the local Ghanaian languages.
As a result, Kwarasey was dropped for the opening qualifiers against Uganda and Togo early this month.
Kwarasey has been in top for his Norwegian side Stromsgodset, a team he captains, who lie third on the Eliteserien table.
