Black Stars goalkeeper Adam Kwarsey could be making a shock move away from the Major League Soccer to the join Mexican top-flight side Tiburones Rojos de Veracruz.

Kwarsey who is nursing a finger injury is reported to be linked with the Liga MX side after two seasons with Portland Timbers.

The 28-year-old could be the second Ghanaian to play in Mexico following Yahaya Mohammed’s move to lower division side Murciélagos FC.

Veracruz, one of the top clubs in Mexico are said to be in advance talks with the Ghanaian goalkeeper who is expected to complete a deal with the Club in the next few days.

The former Stromgodset gloves-man was named as the goalkeeper with most clean sheets in the Major League Soccer last season.
