Former head coach of the Black Stars James Kwesi Appiah has been awarded the best coach in the Sudan domestic league.
The immediate past coach of the senior national team beat competition from many other coaches to win the gong.
After leaving the Black Stars’s job, Sudan’s Al Khartoum hired the former national team captain on a multiple-year deal.
He led the side to a 5th place finish this season, having handled them in an unsuccessful campaign in the CAF Confederation Cup.
