Kwesi Nyantakyi has jumped into the defence of the Ethics Committee of the Ghana Football Association, by emphasizing that the committee is really working to control the conduct of stakeholders in the game.
The Ethics Committee is one of the standing committees of the GFA which has come under severe public scrutiny.
However, Nyantakyi who was once invited by the body for questioning on his exchanges with Kwame Baah Nuako in 2013 when the later was working as he International Relations Manager of Kumasi Asante Kotoko has stated that the Ethics Committee is a hard working body because it ensure all culprits are brought to book to bring sanity into the game of football, adding that club administrators refrain abusive languages.
“The Ethics Committee is really working, because anybody who says something brings the name of the game into disrepute is invited for questioning.
“I was once invited to answer some questions, so they are functioning effectively, but I some club officials should refrain from acts that bring the name of the game into disrepute,” the GFA President told Angel FM.
