President Kwesi Nyantakyi says he has no plans of leaving the seat as head of the Ghana Football Association anytime soon.
Nyantakyi has announced he will contest for a third term of office next year when nominations are opened for the Ghana FA polls.
He told the World Cup Commission of Inquiry that he is still young and has the verve to continue serving the country in his capacity.
“My Lord, I am not tired. I am full of energy and ready to continue serving as the President of the GFA,” he said.
“So far as Issa Hayatou and Sepp Blatter continue to serve as the president of Confederation of Africa Football and Federation of International Football Association, I am ready to serve.
“Our system is like the parliamentary system. We have parliamentarians who have been in parliament since 1992 and there is nothing wrong with that.
“People should respect the sovereignty of the people. I was voted for and so I will continue to serve so far as the people continue to vote for me.”
