LIVE UPDATES: Final Group F games (2018 FIFA World Cup )

Germany must beat Korea to make it to the last 16 stage Germany must beat Korea to make it to the last 16 stage

World Champions, Germany are in action today against South Korea and we will be running updates of the game concurrently with the Mexico versus Sweden game.

Toni Kroos broke the hearts of Sweden players with a last-minute goal to put his country’s World Cup hopes back on track.

A win today is non-negotiable and the World Champions with all their arsenals are highly tipped to beat the Koreans and grab one of the available spots in the last 16.

They have their destiny in their own hands but a win won’t come cheap as the Koreans also have a slim chance of advancing to the next stage.

South Korea would need to beat the Germans, hope Sweden lose to Mexico and amass a better goal difference than Germany and Sweden.

Two of the three matches between South Korea and Germany have been at World Cup finals, with the Germans winning both contests.

Germany will be without Jerome Boateng who was red carded in the game against Sweden and Matts Hummels is expected to replace him in the starting XI.

Mexico will top Group F if they beat Sweden today and that’s their motivation heading into that game.

Sweden can also qualify with a win and are currently level on three points with Germany and their coach Janne Andersson is going all out for a win today.

We had a very good performance against Germany and deserve great respect for that. We know that Mexico are a very good team," he said.

"They are fast and technically gifted. We respect them as opponents. We are not going to be surprised by them. We know they are good team. We are ready to play them and we are looking forward to the challenge."

Both games kick off at 2:00 pm
