Hello good afternoon and welcome to another round of fixtures in the Ghana Premier League.
There is more than one reason why this afternoon’s Ghana Premier League clash between regional rivals, Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Len Clay Stadium will attract such high interest apart from the quest for the three points at stake.
Both sides have made some changes, Kotoko in their technical directorate with Paa Kwesi Fabin taking over and Ashgold making significant changes to their administration, with former Kotoko management member, Dr Kwaku ‘Champion’ Frimpong, now fully charge of the Miners.
Having won their first win at Len Clay last season in over four seasons, Kotoko will be storming Obuasi with the hope of pulling the brakes on Ashgold who so far have an unbeaten record this season.
The Miners so far, this season, have three wins and a draw in the opening four games and they will be out to maintain that record, and thus likely to fiercely fight off Kotoko’s challenge.
Other league games today are
Dreams FC vs Karela FC
Inter Allies vs WAFA
