Our coverage of the 2017/2018 UEFA Europa league ends tonight as Atletico Madrid face Olympique Marseille in the finals.

Atletico Madrid are the bookmakers favourite to lift the title having knocked out Arsenal in the semi-final stage.

However, Coach Diego Simeone has warned his players not to underrate their opponents.

"Experience is a little thing that can help but it's not going to have too much influence. We'll be excited, up for it, but also tense. We need to take the game where we want it and do damage where we can."

"They've had a great season, at home and on the continent," he added.

"We're two similar sides. They've maybe not been together as long as we have but they're just as enthusiastic and work hard. It'll be a great final." Olympique Marseille edged past Red Bull Salzburg in the semi-final and are on the lookout for a historic victory over the Spanish giants.

Speaking ahead of the game, Marseille captain Dimitri Payet wants his side to "write their names" in the history books by beating Atletico Madrid in the Europa League final.

The French side reached their first European final since 2005, when they lost in the Uefa Cup to Valencia.

We believe against Atletico because this season has shown that we are a real team," said Payet. Those who won the Champions League in 1993 are still heroes because nobody else has done it since. We know how tough it is. Of course, that is an added source of motivation, and if we do win the final, our names will be written into the club's history books forever."

There are no injury worries for both sides as Filipe Luis recovered to join his Atletico Madrid teammates in his France while Payet and Roland have been passed fit to play for Atletico tonight.

The game which starts at 6:45 promises to be exciting and we will be bringing you live text commentary so stay with us.
