Welcome to the live coverage of Week 6 of the Premier League.
Week 5 of the Premier League saw Liverpool and Chelsea maintain their 100% start to the Premier League whereas Watford failed to make history after losing to Manchester United at Vicarage Road. Manchester City kept the pressure on Liverpool and Chelsea at the top of the table, but Spurs with two defeats in a row are in a kind of a rut at the moment.
This week Manchester United welcome Wolves at the Old Trafford, the Red Devils have won their last six league matches against Wolves at home, including all four in the Premier League, one of six sides they have played against on at least four occasions at home in the competition while retaining a 100 per cent record. Both of these teams go into the fixture having won their last two Premier League fixtures.
Third-placed Manchester City are seeking a fifth victory from their opening six matches at 17th-placed Cardiff City. This will be the third meeting between Cardiff and Man City in the Premier League, with the previous two encounters providing 11 goals: Cardiff winning 3-2 at home and losing 4-2 at the Etihad in 2013/14.
Liverpool can extend their 100 per cent record so far this season to six matches with victory at Anfield. Liverpool have kept a clean sheet in each of their last four Premier League matches against Southampton – the Reds' longest current run in the competition. Southampton have won three of their 19 Premier League visits to Anfield (W3 D6 L10), their last victory coming in September 2013.
Brighton go into the fixture on the back of two come-from-behind 2-2 draws while Spurs have lost their last two league matches. Brighton have lost only one of their last nine Premier League home matches (W5 D3), a 2-0 reverse against Leicester in March. After an unbeaten run of nine Premier League away fixtures (W6 D3), Spurs have lost two of their last four on the road in the top-flight.
