Former Asante midfielder Larbi Koomson has launched a scathing attack on the club’s management and labelled them liars for neglecting him during his injury.
Koomson suffered a knee injury at the club’s training ground prior to the start of last season’s Ghana Premier League.
He underwent surgery and made a return to training this January but was released by the club this month.
Koomson felt disrespected during his rehabilitation and has descended heavily on management.
"These current management members of Kotoko are liars. I have suffered a lot under this management after my injury,” the former Medeama SC player told Angel FM.
"It got to a time that this management told me they are doing me favour meanwhile it is their responsibility to take care of me.
"It got to a time that I have to go to Accra for surgery even with crutches this management gave me GHc 200 for air ticket while it cost GHc199.80.
"Any management member who will try to deny this " May Allah Deal with that person amicably."
