Former member of the Ghana Football Association's Executive Council, Sammy Anim Addo, has praised Laryea Kingston for his influential role in helping build a future for the next generation of Ghana football.

Laryea Kingston has led the Black Starlets on an unbeaten run in the WAFU tournament, securing a semifinal berth.

According to him, Laryea Kingston is building a formidable team that has the potential to dominate the global stage.

"He (Laryea Kingston) is building these boys for the future, and these boys would be able to fit into any team in the world if they continue with what they are doing because the systems, the game plan, game management, and the mental toughness, as well as the confidence on the pitch, are there," he told Joy Sports.

"I can see a great future in these boys. I wouldn't be surprised, and some of us want to break that jinx where a boy can leave here straight and go to a team in Europe and get a chance.

"These boys can fit into any system, and at the same time, they will grow to become great assets to the nation, from here to U20, to U23, and the Black Stars, so I am happy to see what he's doing," he added.

The Black Starlets will face Burkina Faso in the semis with the hope of reaching the final to qualify for the U17 AFCON slated for 2025.
