Former Black Stars player, Laryea Kingston, has named his best Black Stars XI from his playing generation.
The former Hearts of Oak midfielder selected Richard Kingson as his goalkeeper. For his back four, he chose John Paintsil as the right-back, John Mensah and Eric Addo as the center-back pairing, and Hans Adu Sarpei at left-back.
Setting his team up in a 4-4-2 formation, Laryea picked himself, Stephen Appiah, Michael Essien, and Sulley Muntari as the midfield quartet.
In attack, he opted for Asamoah Gyan and Matthew Amoah.
Laryea Kingson made his Black Stars debut in 2002 and went on to earn 40 caps, scoring six goals.
He retired from the national team in 2010 after being excluded from the World Cup squad for the second time.
