The family and representatives of late Black Stars player, James Adjei on Friday afternoon visited the Ghana Football Association (GFA) secretariat in Accra to formally inform and further invite the GFA to the funeral rites of their departed son next week.

The GFA, led by its President, Kwesi Nyantakyi warmly received the bereaved family and shared the FA’s sympathies with them. The funeral rites for the late footballer is expected to be held at Ashtown, Kumasi on Saturday, April 14, 2018.

The late James Adjei played for Asante Kotoko and the senior national team, the Black Stars in the days of football administrator, Ohene Djan.

He died at the age of 90 years.
