Italian Serie A side Lazio have joined in the chase for Ghana midfielder Godfred Donsah ahead of the January transfer window.

The high-on-demand midfielder is likely to leave Bologna with Italy's biggest clubs all chasing his signature.

Juvetus, Napoli, Inter Milan, Torino and AS Roma have all revealed their interest in the defensive midfielder and according to Sky Italia Lazio are the latest to express their interest in the player.

The 21 year old has been on top form for Bologna, scoring two goals in 13 appearances and has been influential in the club's 9th position on the Serie A table.

According to reports, Bologna are set to let their most priced asset leave in the winter transfer window at a reasonable price.

The former Chievo Verona and Cagliari midfielder is also reported to be on the radar of Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger and could replace injury prone Jack Wilshere at the emirates.

The player said early in the year, he was ready to leave the club should the right offer present itself.

“I’m planning to leave Bologna, because I think there are many better options on the table. The most important thing is for both the team and the player to be happy. So if something concrete comes up it will be very important for me to leave the club," he said at the Calcio trade ball in the summer.

The former under-20 midfielder earned a Black Stars call up recently and played in the game against Egypt in Cape Coast.
