League resumes Tomorrow

The second round of the ABC premier league competition resumes at the various centres tomorrow after nearly three weeks break. The league, which prior to the break produced some dramatic results and excitements, will definitely send fans into hysteria since more thrills are yet to be witnessed. At Tema, Ghapoha will begin their title chase with a tougher duel against Kotoko.

This is one encounter that is set to stimulate many sports fans to troop to the Tema Stadium in their numbers to watch the match. Obuasi Goldfields will welcome Great Olympics to the Len Clay Stadium in a match that looks dicey for the two sides.

Champion club, Hearts of Oak, will continue their title defence with a slightly hectic task against RTU at the Accra Stadium. Action resumes at the Kumasi Stadium with a clash between visiting Liberty Professionals and King Faisal. Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs will lock horns with Tano Bofoakwa at the Siwdu Park, which has now been sanctioned by the GFA to enable Dwarfs to resume play there after a two-match ban. It would be recalled that the Siwdu Park was banned after Dwarfs-Kotoko first round league clash that resulted in crowd violence in which certain facilities were destroyed.

At the Sekondi Gyandu Park, Hasaacas will host Kwaebibirem to see if they can turn around their fate during the second round. Power FC will welcome Dawu Youngsters to the Koforidua Park in a match which could be termed as a relegation battle.
