Lee Addy Being "Forced" to Sign For Chinese Club

Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade have ordered Ghana defender Lee Addy to sign for newly-promoted Chinese Super League side Dalian Aerbin.

Dalian have offered to pay 1.7 million Euros for the services of the versatile defender.

Red Star, who are cash-strapped, have told him to sign for the Asian side before 20 December.

Addy will sign a three-year deal if he agrees to join the side.

His former club Berekum Chelsea will get 30 percent of his transfer per the agreement which exists between the two clubs.

But the 21-year-old is not keen on the move to the Chinese top flight.

“I must admit that I have not thought about China but I heard that the standard of the league is good and very competitive,” Addy said.

Addy has played 13 out of the 15 matches for Red Star Belgrade and has two years left on his contract.

Dalian Aerbin won the Chinese second-tier league to pick one of the two promotional slots.
