Legon Cities coach Goran Barjektarevic hopes the Royals' FA Cup win over Inter Allies will hand his players the needed boost ahead of their Ghana Premier League game against Eleven Wonders.

The neveau-rich club trounced their regional rivals Inter Allies 3-0 to progress to the round of 32 in the MTN FA Cup, and are awaiting their next opponents ahead of next Wednesday's draw.

But before they find out their next opponent in the Cup competition, the Accra based club will host Eleven Wonders on Match Day 12 of the topflight on Saturday.

"Yes of course, we have to be realistic even though it wasn't a perfect match but we saw that if we fight, if we show the best on the pitch and if the team show's it's really really one team, then we can win even if we don't play the best," he told the club's media.

"If everybody fight for each other as a team, we saw that we can win even if we don't perform, we won 3-0 and that is respectable," he added.

The Bosnian born German coach is not underestimating his fellow struggling opponents but he believes he has a good enough team to win the game on Saturday.

"We will do everything we can to win. It is always unpleasant for me to promise something because in this monent I think of our opponents, It comes to me as if I underestimate them but I know they have prepared well," he said.

"I hope we will take this three points, it is very necessary for us. I am confident my players did the best this week and I have some injured players but I think we will perform good enough to win."
