Eleven Wonders put up a brave fight to earn a 0-0 draw in Accra against Legon Cities FC on Saturday in the Ghana Premier League.

The Techiman-based side have gone four matches without a defeat a huge boost in their relegation fight.

The visitors sounded the first warning shot when goalkeeper Fatau Dauda dived to pull a great save inside the box.

Legon Cities FC appealed for a handball after Cephas Doku's shot in the penalty box appears to have hit the hand of the centre back of the away side but the referee isn't interested in that and waves to play on.

The Royals were forced to substitute No.1 goalkeeper Dauda after picking up an injury.

His replacement Winfred Honu Komla Selorm stepped in between the sticks and was barely tested.

Five minutes from the break, Cephas Doku struck from distance, but John Moosie, the Eleven Wonders goalkeeper, palmed it out.

In the second half, Wonders decided to park the bus and frustrated Cities, who lacked the cutting edge to unlock their defensive play.

Seven minutes to the end of regulation time, striker Jabila Abdulkarim missed a glorious opportunity to strike the match-winner. It was a terrible miss from close range.
