Dreams FC captain, Leonard Owusu is keeping his focus on improved performance match after match weeks after returning from injury which sidelined him at the beginning of the season.

The calm-looking skipper was missing in action in the team’s opening matches. Some fans of the club admit that, even though Dreams FC have an all-round team, the absence of Leonard Owusu was felt much the same way as his presence has seen in good lights.

Leonard has featured in the last three matches of Dreams FC. What’s striking is that, in all of the three matches, he’s been directly involved in goals scored by the team. He actually assisted George Dwubeng in the late minute goal that sunk Kotoko on match day seven at the Theatre of Dreams, Dawu.

Not just that, Leonard Owusu has also won the NASCO Man of the Match award on two consecutive occasions – the last one coming in the 1-0 defeat Dreams FC handed Liberty Professionals at Sogakope.

The captain says he’s not looking back. “I’m focused on playing well and helping my team” he told Ghana Premier League broadcast rights holders, StarTimes after the Dreams FC-Liberty Professionals match day eight fixture. He was the man of the match in that game.
