Liberty Beat Feyernood

Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord suffered their second defeat in the on-going GT Premier League on Sunday when visiting Dansoman-based Liberty Professionals humbled them 2-0 at the Agona Swedru Sport Stadium All the goals came in the first half of the match.

The agony of the Fetteh boys started in the eighth minute when referee Alhasan Brobbey of Asante Mampong whistled for free-kick against Feyenoord for an unclear offence which Peter Ofori-Quaye perfectly scored for the first goal for the visitors.

The referee's decisions some how seemed to demoralize the Gomoa boys and this gave a lee way to Liberty Professionals to pile pressure on the home side.

In the 41 minute, skipper Mustapha Essuman increased the scores to two in a goal mouth melee.

Both teams made changes at the latter part of the second half but none of them could make any positive results till the end of proceedings.

Liberty Professionals attracted three yellow cards while Feyenoord also received one for rough play.
