Dreams FC claimed an unfancied 1-0 win over ten Liberty Professionals at the Karl Reindorf Park in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Veteran striker Eric Gawu produced an artful effort in the 68th minute to win all three points for C K Akunnor's men.

The former Hearts of Oak star went picked a loose ball from the Liberty half and went solo, outsmarting four players in the process before beating Kwaku David in the Liberty goal.

Liberty were reduced to ten men when Emmanuel Antwi was sent off early in the second-half after clashing with Abeiku Ainooson.

But Liberty had their stars to curse as returnee Kennedy Ashia skied a string of glorious chances in the first-half.

While Liberty were fluffing their lines Dreams could have stole the lead but Eric Gawu also unbelievably missed from close range.

The Dawu-based side have swapped places with Liberty, moving to sixth place on the log.
