Louis Agyemang To Sign For Hearts

Louis Agyemang is set to sign a two-year contract with Accra Hearts of Oak today, Tuesday, June 14, 2005. The striker, who fell out with Hearts over a botched transfer move, has agreed to rejoin the Phobian fold.

Agyemang and his uncle who doubles as his manager, met with officials of Hearts last week to resolve their differences and renegotiate the player's return.

The prolific striker has been inactive this season because of a protracted transfer tussle but hopes to revive his career on his second spell with Hearts.

In a related development, Hearts will play Liberty Professionals in a mid-week memorial match in honour of coach Emmanuel Offei Ansah who passed away last week.

The match was proposed by Liberty as a fitting farewell to Ansah who died in the line of duty in a league match between the two sides.
