Louis Agyemang hints at Ashantigold exit

Striker Louis Agyemang has suggested that he is prepared to leave Ashantigold in search of first team football in the near future.

The 30-year-old has endured limited playing time at the club this season where he continues to warm the bench.

He has falling down the pecking order with coach Bashir Hayford given more opportunities to younger players.

It is clear that the former Kotoko and Hearts player has no long-term future at Obuasi.

The forward seems ready to quit the club and has hinted he would like to move on.

“I would like to stay here but from the way things are going I don’t know what the future holds,” Agyemang said.

“The fact that I want to stay here does not mean, I will stay here forever. At one point I will have to move on. I would have to consider my options. It’s part of life.”

Agyemang joined the miners from Medeama in 2012 but has failed to hold down a regular spot in the team mainly due to injury setback.
