Dreams Football Club defeated Soccer Intellectuals by a goal to nil on Thursday afternoon to make it to the semi-finals of this season’s MTN FA Cup.
The Dawu-based club made history last season when the team lifted the MTN FA Cup trophy for the first time.
This season, the team is doing very well in the competition and on course to defend the title.
On Thursday, the team hosted Soccer Intellectuals in the quarterfinals of the domestic cup competition.
In a game played at the Theatre of Dreams, Dreams FC secured a 1-0 victory courtesy of a solitary goal from Abdul Aziz Issah in the first half.
Dreams FC led by head coach Karim Zito, are confident of going past the semi-final stage to reach the final.
The club's target is to win the competition to make a return to the CAF Confederation Cup next season.
