MTN will end their relationship with the Ghana FA Cup as headline sponsors after this season, GHANASoccernet.com can confirm.
A member of the FA Cup Committee Kofi Poku confirmed on Accra-based Joy FM on Monday afternoon.
The telecommunication giants have been bankrolling the knockout competition since 2010.
After the first three years, they penned another three which expires after this season’s campaign.
Their association with the competition helped give exposure to several lower division sides.
This year, Wa Rockets have emerged dark horses after they beat Ghana Premier League leaders 1-0 Wa All Stars.
