Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Waris has been ruled out for three weeks after undergoing surgery on his left hand.
According to a statement on the website of his club, the diminutive striker who was making his second appearance for the club suffered a fracture to his hand after landing awkwardly and is estimated to be out for three weeks.
Waris has a long history of injuries that has staggered a once promising career in European football. He has missed two AFCON’s due to injury and went to the World Cup in Brazil half fit after a break through season with Valneciennes in the Ligue 1.
More injury trouble followed him during his time in Turkey with Trabzonspor,leading to him failing to land a regular spot in the team.
