An excited Manchester United fan in Ghana delivered a testimony to God for helping his club win the FA Cup over their rivals Manchester City.

Manchester United secured a 2-1 win over the Premier League Champions on Saturday, May 25, 2024, to lift the title.

As a mark of celebration, a Manchester United fan went to church on Sunday, May 26, 2024, to offer praises to God for not letting the Red Devils end the season without a trophy.

At the Asankare Emmanuel Methodist Church in the Asante Akim South Municipal of the Ashanti Region, the moderator announced that one of the church members wanted to glorify God for giving his club a title to be proud of.

The unidentified fan also asked God to extend his blessings to Asante Kotoko and the Black Stars, who have also struggled to win matches in recent times.

The moderator said, “One of our members wants to thank God because if not for Him, he would have lost his appetite. On behalf of all the Man United fans, he wants to thank God for their glory. May God bless Chelsea while they wail. He also wants God to remember Kotoko and the Black Stars to extend the glory to them.”

An outstanding first-half performance saw Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo net two goals to inspire the Red Devils to victory.

Although substitute Jeremy Doku gave City hope with a late strike, United held on to their lead to lift their 13th FA Cup title.

The win also saw Manchester United snatch the Europa League ticket from Chelsea, who will now be competing in the Europa Conference League next season.
