Management of Dwarfs honour playing body

Cape Coast, Mar. 30, GNA - The Management of Cape Coast Mysterious Dwarfs on last week-end honoured the playing body at a ceremony at the Robert Mensah Sports Stadium in Cape Coast.

The awards that was presented to the playing body was made up of cash amounts from 500,000 cedis to one million cedis plus products of Promasidor Company.

The honour was in appreciation of the splendid performance of the Club exhibited during the Middle League that ensured their qualification to the Premier division.

Nana Brew Butler, Executive Director of the Club commended the playing body for their yeoman's job.

He congratulated Promasidor Company, sponsors of the Club and management and supporters of Cape Coast Venomous Vipers, the technical team and all those who contributed in divers ways to enable the Club to qualify for the elite division.

Nana Butler said it is the aim of the Management to build the Club to rank among the best teams in the country.

He said that in a bid to improve the financial position of the club, he intends to float shares and appealed to supporters to buy the shares to support the Club.

Later in a soccer match to climax the occasion, Dwarfs beat Cape Coast Venomous Vipers 1-0.

The only goal was scored by substitute, Abudulai Mondale. Earlier, the playing body went on a float through the principal streets of the town amid Asafo songs and brass band music. Nana Kwamena Nyimfa the ninth, Adontehene of Oguaa Traditional Area was the Special Guest of Honour.
