Mixed martial artist, Theophilus Nelson who was born and bred in the United Kingdom by Ghanaian parents has made a triumphant entry to his roots before engaging in his professional debut.
Nelson who battles Isaac Commey from Bukom and Chorkor on Tuesday paid a special visit to the head of the Tabon clan in Ghana, Nii Azumah Nelson V at his residence in Accra.
The Team Nelson delegation led by Mr. Theophilus Bruce Cathline who made introductions said the son of Tabon has traced his roots and wish to seek spiritual and moral support, guidance and protection before and after the fight.
Nii Azumah Nelson V and his elders warmly welcomed the Team Nelson which included two coaches, Brian and Alan and Jeff Taylor of Warriors Sports Championship, promoter of the fight.
He advised the team to take their training serious and always be discipline, remain humble, but aim high in his sports life.
He said the Tabon clan hailed from Brazil in South America, and they are very brave warriors, producing the like of Azumah Nelson, former WBC champion.
He blessed Theo Nelson Aka TJ, and wished him success in his chosen profession.
Nii Ben Quarcoe (Okyeame) on behalf of Nii Azumah presented a book, Tabon to him.

Jeff Taylor formerly invited the chief and his elders to the program which features other fighters from Cameroun, Nigeria and Togo at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday Nov 4.
Earlier in the morning Team Nelson visited Marinel Int. School being built by his parents at Dome to interact with over 450 pupils.
