Ebusua Dwarfs staged a strong second-half display to claim a 2-1 come-from-behind victory over title-chasing Aduana Stars at the Robert Mensah Stadium in Cape Coast on Wednesday.

In-form Yahaya Mohammed was the architect of a brilliant free-kick which was beautifully connected by former Ghana youth winger Richard Mpong to fetch the opening goal for Aduana Stars.

But talented forward Bright Luqman pecked the scoring for the Mysterious Club in the second-half before Nicolas Gyan completed the comeback with a neat finish in 76 minutes.

The former OGC Nice midfielder weighed an artful cross and Richard Mpong applied a visionary touch to beat Frank Andoh. The Dwarfs goalie registered his shock by standing akimbo and watch the visitors celebrate the goal in style.

Cioaba Aristica's men were keen to restore the Fire Club's winning run after sharing the spoils with Hearts of Oak at the Agyemang Badu Park during the weekend.

Aduana ended the halve with their heads high after bossing the game and leading the scores. But Dwarfs levelled the scoring after the interval.

Forward Bright Luqman outgunned his marker with sheer energy and passion to pounce on a drop ball following a goal-mouth melee.

Dwarfs continued to push for the winner but Aduana placed their soul on the game, defending passionately. But the Mysterious Club eventually clinched the lead.

Luqman rounded up an Aduana defender and set up Nicolas Gyan who produced a silky touch to bury his effort home to win the game for Dwarfs.
