Accra, Sept 10, GNA - The Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) has summoned some match officials as well as club officials of Obuasi AshantiGold and Okwawu United and two players from both teams to appear before its Disciplinary Committee on Tuesday, September 14.
This followed the disturbances that occurred during the match between Okwawu United and AshantiGold in the Special GHALCA Knockout Competition at the Mpraeso Brightons Park.
FIFA referee's Alex Quartey and William Agbovi will appear before the Committee together with match commissioners Maxwell Sarfo and John Owusu.
Among the officials to appear are Mr Andy Sam and Mr Gee Aidoo, Chief Executive Officer and the Welfare Officer of AshantiGold respectively and Mr Jascot Ampadu, the Chairman of Okwawu United. The rest are Nasiru Ghani, a player of Okwawu United and Ofosu Amoah and AshantiGold.
