Ghanaian midfielder Mathew Anim Cudjoe has parted ways with Scottish club Dundee United after turning down a contract extension with the club.

After spending two and a half years with the club, Dundee United announced that the player had bid farewell.

In their announcement, Dundee United confirmed that the club had made an offer to the Ghanaian, but the player had already made his intentions to leave clear.

"We can confirm Mathew Cudjoe has decided to end his Tannadice career. The club made an offer reflecting our vision for Mathew in both financial and footballing terms; however, the Ghanaian has chosen to pursue his career elsewhere.

"Since his arrival in November 2021, he has made 46 appearances in Tangerine, scoring five goals."

Mathew Anim Cudjoe began his professional career with Asante Kotoko and Legon Cities before leaving for Europe.
