McCarthy counting on Herbert Addo magic

Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Philemon McCarthy is confident that newly appointed coach Herbert Addo would bring best out of the current squad.

McCarthy will be looking to impress the new technical head after injury hampered his campaign last season.

He believes the experience possessed by Addo will be key to the team’s success this term.

“We are all excited to be working with him and it’s clearly showing within the squad,” he told GHANASoccernet.com

“His experience at the top level will be good for some of us and I hope it benefits the club as a whole.

“He is a very meticulous person which I think the team will benefit from that.”

Hearts finished third last season and are looking to win their first major silverware since 2009.
