McDon in collaboration with Box Office Promotion would stage an expected thriller involving George Ashie (Red Tiger) and Allan Kamote from Tanzania at the Accra Sports Stadium next month.
Ashie will fight Kamote for the Interim World Boxing Organization (WBO) Africa Lightweight Championship on December 5.
Braimah Kamoko (BukomBanku), who was scheduled to fight an American-based boxer Bastie Samir on the bill has pulled out without a reason.
Banku was billed to fight Samir in what was expected to be the biggest challenge for the undefeated Ghanaian boxer.
The other bouts on the night include, a World Boxing Federation (WBF) Africa Light Heavyweight Championship between Maxwell “Black Wolf” Amponsah and Ebenezer “Uppercut” Tetteh.
McDon Atitsogbui of McDon Promotions said "The bout would serve as a huge event for boxing lovers ahead of the Christmas festivities. It is important to keep the boxing atmosphere high in the country while hoping to have Banku come out to face Bastie.
"My main objective is to enhance the quality of boxing bouts and give the country a good image worldwide.’’
