WAFA’s 46-game unbeaten home run has come to an end following their 1-2 loss to Medeama on matchday 6 of the ongoing Ghana Premier League on Wednesday.

The Tarkwa based side came from a goal down to shock the Academy Boys at the Red Bull Arena in Sogakope.

Charles Boateng shot the Sogakope based side into the lead in the 23rd minute, but before the break, Justice Blay pulled even for the away side.

On the 57th minute, Kwesi Donsu scored Medeama’s second goal.

WAFA huffed and puffed but they failed to get the needed equalizer.

The last time WAFA lost at home was against Ashanti Gold (1-0) which was three seasons ago.
