John Mensah and AC Milan ace Kevin-Prince Boateng are expected to return to the Black Stars as they camp next week in Nairobi.
Ghana plays its final Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on October 8 against Sudan in Omdurman, having drawn goalless in Kumasi in the first leg last October. The Black Stars are on top of Group I with 13 points, but just on a better goals aggregate. Sudan has the same number of points.
Mensah, Ghana´s captain, has seen his injury issues continue to dog him this season as he tries to pin down a regular slot at Lyon. He played last Wednesday as his side slumped to a 1-0 defeat to Caen.
Boateng would also be expected to recover from a niggling injury in time to start for the Stars, following good showings for Milan in the first few matches of the season. He has also been absent from the Rossoneri set up due to injury.
Ghanawill qualify for the finals if they do not lose to Sudan, who qualify for the finals if they defeat Ghana as well.
