John Mensah hopes he can remain at Sunderland after admitting he is enjoying his time in England.
The Ghana international is on loan from French club Lyon and although he has only played 12 matches with the Black Cats due to injury, he is hoping for a permanent deal to remain at the Stadium of Light.
"Well for me I've been to so many clubs and I cannot say I have to stay or I have to go. I like Sunderland. They treat me well and keep me happy,” he told the club’s official website.
"The physios work hard on my fitness and give me more confidence to come back fit and give everything possible for the team.
"I don't feel anything bad and I am happy to stay, but that depends on my agent, the club and the manager."
