Meteors and Queens cleared to play All Africa Games

The Black Meteors and Black Queens participation in the 2015 All Africa Games has now been confirmed after the National Sports Authority settled Ghana’s debt of $35,000 to the multi-sport competition’s organizing body on Monday, Dailysoccerghana.com can confirm.

The Meteors and Queens, the nation’s two representatives in the Brazzaville 2015 competitions, was at risk of missing out on the multi-sport event, despite securing qualification since Ghana was owing the Supreme Council for Sports Africa.

The Black Meteors booked their place at the All Africa Games after recording a 2-1 aggregate victory over Mozambique.

The Black Queens secured a spot in the multi-sport competition after dismissing Zimbabwe 4-3 on aggregate.
