Ghana midfielder Michael Essien says he is living the Indonesian dream after signing a bumper deal with German Sportswear giants Adidas.
Adidas organized a street freestyle soccer event and the former Chelsea ace was chosen as one of the judges as part of the new deal he signed.
The Persib Bandung midfielder looks relaxed with T-shirts and hats bearing a famous social media. Interesting when he talks about conditions in Indonesia.
The 34-year-old revealed that it is almost impossible to move and live in Jakarta.
"I'm comfortable in Bandung, I do not think I can live in Jakarta, it's incredible," Essien jokingly told JPC.
Not only that, the player also revealed that he did not do much activity outside football during in Indonesia.
"My activities are just sleeping outside of soccer, playing, exercising, sleeping, so over and over, my favourite thing and my hobby is sleep," he concluded.
Since playing in Persib, Essien's performance is very consistent. His role is a bit different and often given room to attack.
