Middlesbrough to extend Adomahâ??s contract

Middlesbrough are set to open talks with Ghana winger Albert Adomah over a long term contract extension.

The 26-year-old has settled-in well just one-year into his three-year deal at the Riverside.

Boro rejected offers for the Ghana international – who has scored 13 goals in 52 games – in the summer.

The club now wants to tie the Black Stars player down to a long term contract. Aitor Karanka has been a staunch admirer of the Ghanaian and wants to move quickly to secure his future in the long term.

A further three-year deal is believed to being mooted by the club who are expected to make this fresh offer next week.
