Fans and officials of Italian giants AC Milan have continued to shower praises on Ghana international, Kevin-Prince Boateng who joined the team only a few weeks ago.
Kevin-Prince says it feels special to receive adulation from fans of the European giants.
The Ghanaian midfielder joined Milan during the summer on loan from Genoa with a view to a permanent move at the end of the season after leaving Portsmouth and he has already been appreciated by the supporters. For Boateng, the move to Milan from Portsmouth is a major leap in his career.
"When I heard the Milan fans shouting my name it was amazing," the Ghana midfielder told Sky Italia. "I had never seen a stadium shouting my name like that. I'm as happy as a child to play in this great club. "And if the fans consider me an idol, that means I'm doing something good. "When you graduate from a small club like Portsmouth to a great club like Milan, it's fantastic."
Boateng has been involved during the early part of the campaign and boss Massimiliano Allegri already regards him as a key player. "He was an important purchase, because he has the aggression and technique that complements our midfield," said Allegri. Veteran midfielder Clarence Seedorf has also been impressed by what the Ghana international has put in so far. "Kevin-Prince has adapted fine in Milan. He did very well in the matches in which he played," said the Dutchman. "He has excellent quality, as do all those who belong to this group. So he will be important too."
