Accra, Nov. 20, GNA - Black Stars trainer Milovan Rajevac has gone "soul" searching for position-specific players in his quest to build a winsome team.

The Serb has identified the left-back and the right wing positions as the major loophole in his squad, and desires to seal them before the campaign for the next round of the qualifiers for the 2010 World Cup/Africa Cup of Nations begins.

The Stars launch their campaign against Benin next March, and coach Milo tells GNA Sports he thirsts to present a team exclusive of the setbacks that continue to haunt them. The Stars trainer's headache was further aggravated as he watched his team exposed by a youthful Tunisian side last Wednesday in an international friendly that ended scoreless at the Ohene Djan stadium in Accra.

"I want a natural left-back and a right winger. Those positions are the weakest side of the team and I must improve on them."

But for Habib Mohammed who had a short stint with the team, the left-back position has repeatedly been manned by righted legged players, Emmanuel Addoquaye Pappoe, Hans Adu Sarpei and lately Harrison Afful as the main suitors.

Milo told the GNA Sports that the trend must change to gift Ghana a complete team.

"Looking for a natural left to fill that position was among my priorities during my recent trip to Europe but I did not find an alternative."

The coach similarly yearns for a right winger equipped with both attacking and defensive qualities.

Scotland-based Laryea Kingston currently fills that role but the latest development means that he is not the manager's favourite for the position.

Milo emphasized that he will soon embark on an extensive player monitoring exercise in search of the needed replacements.
