Ghana international Mohammed Kudus and his West Ham United team suffered a humiliating defeat to Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday.

The highly-profiled midfielder played full throttle of the match, but his outfit was unable to match the Blues, who ran riot at the London Stadium.

Kudus saw his strike disallowed by referee Samuel Barrott, as the Hammers succumbed to a humiliating 3-0 defeat to the two-time Champions League winners.

West Ham were handed an early scare in the crucial game after Senegal international Nicolas Jackson gave Chelsea the lead after just four minutes.

Jackson found the back of the net for the second time in the 18th-minute mark as the Blues continued their dominance in the game. The visitors went to the halftime break with the advantage.

Chelsea cemented the victory, just two minutes into the second half through Cole Palmer, after he was set up by Nicolas Jackson.

And with no additional goal, the visitors cruised to victory to seal a comfortable victory to merit the three maximum points.

Kudus’s outfit has two wins, two defeats and one draw after five games so far this season.

The 24-year-old, who enjoyed an amazing campaign last term is yet to hit the ground running for the Hammers. He has featured in all five games for the club but is yet to score or register an assist for West Ham.
