And Polo, has revealed that he is ready to work with the Akwesi Appiah if the six-member committee mandated by the Ghana FA to search for the team’s next coach appoint him.

“I am traveling across all the regions formulating a plan to chart a path for us to win the World Cup in 2022”, he says.

According to Polo, Appiah, who now trains Sudanese side, AL Khartoum SC, is tried and tested and would be the right person for the job.

“Akwesi Appiah has coached the Black Stars before and knows the ins and outs of the Stars and can handle the pressure”, he told the Graphic Sports.

He noted that Appiah would have to take this opportunity to redeem his image in the national team and apply lessons he had learnt after departing the Stars in the aftermath of the World Cup.

“He would take this opportunity to become a better person and a better coach and apply lessons he has learnt”, Polo added.
