Moree United win away match

Cape Coast, Oct.12, GNA - Real Moree United defied the home support of Oguaa United to whip them 2-0 in their Second Division league match at the Cape Coast Sports stadium on Sunday.

All the goals were scored in the first half.

From the blast of the referee's whistle Moree United put pressure on their opponents in an effort to get an early goal.

They continued to dictate the pace of the game for a considerable length of time and it came as no surprise when in the 15th minute, mid-fielder, Ernest Sekyi broke the deadlock with a terrific shot to silence he home crowd.

In the 20th minute, Oguaa United forced the tide in their favour but their hopes of drawing level were shattered when centre half, David Otoo, in a solo effort increased his side's tally to 2-0 in the 35th minute.

Results of other league matches were:

Elmina Coconut Sharks lost 0 - 1 to Twifo Praso Noble Kings, Pomadze Kampsite beat Winneba Soccer Intellectuals 1 - 0 while Mankessim Mir trounced Mfantseman United 3-1.
