President of Medeama Football Club Moses Armah says he is excited his side will get the opportunity to show off their skills when they take on South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns in the CAF Confederation Cup.

The Ghanaian side will take on the Brazilians who painfully crashed out of the CAF Champions League against AS Vita.

Medeama on the other hand saw off Sudanese side Al Shandi by 2-0 after playing out a 0-0 draw game in the first leg in Sudan.

The Brazilians will face the Ghanaian club in a two-legged tie on the match days of 6-8 May and 17-18 May.

As a losing team from the Champions League, Sundowns will play the first leg at home, that will give the Ghanaian side a slight advantage.

But President of Medeama Football Club Moses Armah says the prospect of his side taking on one of the best clubs on the continent excites him.

“We were ready for anything team and trust me I am very much excited that we will be playing Mamelodi Sundown,” He told CITI-SPORTS

“They play good football, and Medeama play good football so you can imagine how good the game will be.”

“It’s a massive opportunity for everyone at the club and on a personal not I am certain we will give it our best.”

The eight winners of this round will go into the group stage of the CAF Confederatrion Cup proper.
