Black Maidens midfielder, Basira Alhassan has hinted that the aggressiveness of the Liberian players will not intimidate them in the second leg despite their inexperience at the international level.

The Maidens are hoping to eliminate their Liberians counterparts from the U-17 FIFA World Cup qualifiers after winning the first leg clash by 2-0 in Liberia.

Basira in an interview with the media ahead of tomorrow's game attribute their bad first-half performance in Liberia to their inexperience but adds that they were able to overcome that pressure after calming themselves down on the field of play.

"Their players were very aggressive but we were able to communicate with each other on the field so that we will withstand the pressure they were bringing to us but we have psyched ourselves for the second leg in Ghana."

"As coach rightly said, majority of us have not played in such international matches before but we have been able to overcome that pressure and that appeared in the friendly matches that we played before coming back to Ghana, "she added.

The return leg will take place tomorrow at the Accra Sports Stadium at 3 pm.
