Black Stars midfielder Mubarak Wakaso has shared a memorable picture of himself and former teammate Opoku Agyeman, reminiscing their playing days together.

Wakaso, who plays for Spanish side Deportivo Alaves captioned the throwback picture of him and his former teammate “Life Changes. Miss you bro,” indicating the twist of fates in their careers.

In the picture, Wakaso and Agyeman, who both played for the junior side of Ashantigold, are seen holding one of the junior trophies they won together.

Opoku Agyeman was one of the budding talents of Ghana football, leading the Black Satellites to FIFA World Cup triumph in 2009.

His form with the youth team saw him earn a senior national team call up, where he played an integral role in the Black Stars team that won silver at the AFCON in 2010.

However injuries have blighted his career and which has seen him unable to hit his full potential.

Agyeman played for the various youth teams of Ghana.

He also enjoyed his club career with Ashantigold, CS Sfaxien, Levski Sofia and had stints in the Arabian League too.
